I have always enjoyed Wallpaper guides when I am traveling. But this one, in particular, concentrates WAY too much on architecture. Sure, I like pleasant visual surroundings. But I think restaurant recommendations should be about the food and the service. And art museum descriptions should be about the art. Three quarters of every review were about the architecture. The last sentence maybe told you a little bit about the content. Also, Wallpaper guides are color coded. Many neighborhoods of Mexico City are just gray in this guide, leaving you no clue as to the location of many entries. I found this guide to be a waste of money.
This is a fantastic little guide to Mexico City's more stylish spots. I found it to be much more helpful than a traditional guide, as it only had a few entries and covered the main attractions in the city (with an eye towards art and design). The restaurant recommendations were on-par. It's a necessary companion for every traveler to Mexico City.
I really like this little guide book. Lots of great stuff in it. If you're into architecture, design, and art. But if you're looking for cheap things to do this might not be the guide for you.
Some good ideas, but the info is already dated by the time I took my trip in March, 2017.
