Really enjoyed this book! I absolutely love space operas and this one is right up there at the top. The author built strong characters without going overboard. I dislike the way some authors spend chapters adding in junk that really doesn't contribute to the story, it seems like they run out of story and try to add page count with fluff. Pulling in the dragons almost straight out of the Dragon Rider's of Pern was a bit off, but the author wove it into the story quit well! Now to get into the second book in the series!
What do you get when you combine a genius teenager, marines, dragons, and an upcoming spare war? A great series! This book was so great I read it 2 hours. It’s great to see that someone has set this great book in the best state of WV. Don’t let this one pass you by.
Ok so truthfully I dont ever read scifi. That said I loved this book and cant wait for the next ones in the series to find out what happens next! These two authors write seamlessly together and the work the push out is always leaving me wanting more!
A teen and his brother and his friends land on a adventure and find friends and a enemy that is out to enslave earth enslave it and it will take a few marines to show them how wrong they are a great book now to book 2 and another good book?
There were moments in this story where I almost got a little bored. I can't explain why, it just happened. But then the action picked up again and I was hooked all over. Overall I rate this book a solid 4, and will definitely buy the next one.
What starts as a trip between brothers turns into a wild adventure. This book is an imaginative read for fans of all ages
A teen science fiction novel though not described as such. Maybe the entire book was a necessary setup for the subsequent books. I’ll never know since I’m never going to read book two.
