I love this book!!! I have the kindle edition.I made it about 10 pages into the recipes and I had decided I had to have this one. The recipes are fantastic. There really is a nice collection of recipes in this book. I made it about 15-16 pages in and decided I had to buy the book now. I want a printed version and kindle does not allow to print the books. Which is irritating because there are some beautiful recipes I want to make. I did not make it all the way thru the book, I got so excited by the recipes I did see.I own a 4-5 books already which have recipes in them, but I think this book is unique as in the recipes that it has. I think this is the book I would go back to time and time again to hunt down a recipe. I love this book, it is excellent. Full of recipes and you can't ask for more then that.Everyone should make there own products. It is easy & fun to do. Your family will think your a genius for basic cooking. That is all it is, cooking in the kitchen; just the ingredient are different. You would be surprised at how easy it is to do and the investment to get started can be minimal or alot. It all depends on what you buy. I buy my butters in 2.2 lbs. containers. You can make alot of stuff with 2 lbs of butter (shea, cocoa or soy just to name a few). I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have and will continue to have for many years to come!!!
i felt like it wasn't as accurate as there were parts where it didnt list the amounts of ingredients. disappointed
While reading through the recipes for the bath bombs I have found that many of the recipes call for cups of baking soda and some call for tablespoons of baking soda. This seems to be true of the cornstarch also? If I can't trust the book I won't use it.

This book offers different recipes, not for meals and dishes, but for beauty products. It has several recipes under different beauty products like face moisturizers, toners, lip care, oral hygiene, baths, body butters, body scrubs, and more! They all seem quite easy to make as well. I would just need to lookout for suppliers for the materials and I will definitely create some for my beauty needs.
I liked the variety of the different recipes. They all sound good and easy.
I like knowing what is in the products that I use.I sometimes I change the recipe for ingredients that I like.I enjoyed reading the book and then choosing the recipes that I wanted to make.
